[Notice] 38th Colloquium: Dr. Kang, Jae Dong (Rajagiri School of Business)

 Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Institute of Indian Studies HK+ Team will host the 38th colloquium on the topic of " Trade, Investment and Partnership: The Enlarged Mechanism of Korea-India Relations" on Friday, December 17th.

 

 Economic cooperation between the two countries is very important in the relationship between Korea and India. Korea's direct investment in India is also very important among the economic cooperation between the two countries. The activities of Korean companies that have entered India are very important factors in the relationship between Korea and India. This colloquium is going to investigate Korea's direct investment in India over the past 30 years. The speaker will use a linkage mechanism model to look at the relationship between Korea and India, and look at the causal relationship between Korea's direct investment in India and trade imbalance between the two countries. Let's look at the CSR's way of survival and prosperity in India.

Dr. Kang Jae-dong, a lecturer at the colloquium, was a professor at Indian IT companies and majored in applied economics at the Graduate School of Christ, India. From 2014 to the present, he teaches economics and international business environment at the Rajagiri School of Business in India. He also submitted his doctoral thesis on the economic partnership of Korea-India economic partnership from Kochin University of Science and Technology, India.
