□ The special lecture under the title of“Perennial Philosophy and Mysticism: Ramakrishna”was held on Monday 10th May by Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Institute of Indian Studies HK+Team. 

□ The speaker Prof. Seong, Hae Young from Seoul National University gave a lecture on mysticism and religion, perennial philosophy, and Ramakrishna. He briefly introduced the concept and history of mysticism then explained its significance. He also described the concept of perennial philosophy with taking Ramakrishna as an example. Guru Ramakrishna (1836-1886) declared the consciousness of the problem of Perennial Philosophy prior to Huxley, who sought to find the universality of East-West religion in mysticism through the concept of "Perennial Philosophy", based on his experience. This lecture looked at the Perennial Philosophy centered on the case of Ramakrishna.
